Monomania Sweater Class - Ann Weaver (virtual)
Knit a Monomania cardigan with Ann! We'll walk through all aspects of this design, from color placement and swatching to one-row buttonholes and shaping to buttonbands and seaming! We'll support and inspire one another as we learn or polish some skills, and we'll finish with a cardigan that fits and looks great on everyone!
Skills needed: Knitting, purling, basic increases and decreases.
Techniques covered: Buttonholes, picking up and knitting and seaming.
- Monomania pattern (available on Ravelry for $7 here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/monomania)
- Fingering-weight yarn (see pattern for yardage); feel free to mix brands as long as all yarns are the same weight and similar fibers
- US Size 6 circular needle, at least 32 inches long, for the body, and double-pointed needles or magic loop for the sleeves
- Stitch markers
- Row counter (optional but helpful)
Homework: None! Come with one skein of each color wound. We'll swatch during the first session of the workshop.
