Hats and Cowls

Love this yarn for hats and cowls. The colors are perfect for fall and winter wear.

LOVE! Quick and soft projects

I was unsure before using this Super Bulky weight yarn because I never used a single-ply and didn't know how it would look. Since then, I made an incredible bulky hat with pom pom and a very large scarf. I do use the recommended needle size, so at least US11 (8mm) for projects. Next up I will be making mittens.

Rasta yarn

I've used midnight blue (not their color) Rasta for a scarf for myself. I'm using a Rasta worsted glazed carrot yarn for my husband's scarf, using size 13 'wired' needles. It is thick yarn and works up ridiculously fast. It would be great for any use, but it is a bit heavy. When I was using size 5 needles on a thin yarn for my daughter, the end result was very light, but it took several months to finish. I'll be done with my husband's either tonight or next week, as I'm waiting for the arrival of one more skein to see if he wants it longer. This yarn could be good for a beginner, because the stitches are big and obvious, both knit and purl. Right now, I'm just using a K2P2..... pattern for lengthwise texture.

I made my daughter-in-law simple mittens with this for Christmas. Fast to knit and came out beautifully!
