Sock knitting for the experienced knitter

Time: 9:00-11:00 am

Join Jody as she takes you through your first sock. This pattern is a classic.  Using DK weight yarn means that the knitting will go quickly while learning the techniques to make a sock.   The first class will be the heel turn and the second class will be working the toe.  There is homework for this class!  Please knit upto the heel prior to the first class.  


Supplies

  • Churchmouse Yarns Basic Sock Pattern
  • 100 grams (approx 275 yards) of DK weight yarn
  • Needles: US 3 AND US 5 DPNs, FlexiFlips or long circular needle for magic loop

HOMEWORK:

  • purchase pattern and a print out prior to class
  • have yarn purchased and wound prior to class
  • begin sock and knit upto the heel
