Cashmerino is an 80/20 blend of extra fine superwash Merino wool with Mongolian cashmere. It measures out to 16.5 microns, a grade-A fiber, and when dyed, tends to “glow” from the high cashmere content.

The Coffee Cherries color was created exclusively for String Theory, inspired by a photo from Janet's coffee farm in Colombia.
Joshua has created a wonderful partnership with a woman-managed mill based in Tibet. This mill ethically sources all of its wool from farms throughout Europe; then blends the superfine wool with cashmere to lift the weight while increasing warmth and softness.

The yarn had a lovely feel when working it and is so soft. My project had a few cables and the variegation in the color was enough to be interesting but not overwhelm the details in the knit.
Well, funny you should ask. I just started knitting with this yarn yesterday. It’s wonderful to knit with….so soft and the stitches just glide off the needle. I saw it on Janet’s Instagram “After Hours” and loved the coffee cherries color immediately. I’m loving watching it blossom. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this yarn.
