Choosing Your Yarn:
Now through September 30, you may order any color of Plied North Ave. We will place the order on October 1 and get your yarn to you by class time.
Benchmark is specifically designed with two colors Plied North Ave, but there are several yarns that will work. If you have decided on your yarn, bring that to class. If not, we will have several yarns available for you to “taste”: Keenan BFL DK, Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio DK, Madelinetosh Woolcycle Sport, Handspun Hope Cotton, Harrisville Nightshades and Daylights.
Ruth will be at String Theory Yarn Company on Saturday, October 14 and she would love to help you pick out your yarn for this sweater.
- A printed copy of the Benchmark pattern (Available on Ravelry)
- A 24" or longer circular needle in size 6 or 7 for swatching and practicing.
- Your sweater yarn, if you have decided on one. Otherwise, you can practice with the yarn we have available for tasting.
About the Designer: Ruth has been knitting for about twenty years and designing knitwear since 2016.
