Newish Knitter KAL(virtual) - December 6, 13 and 20
Newish Knitter KAL for December - Dalgali Scarf by Angela Gardner
Date: December 6, 13 and 20
Time: 7:00pm - 8ish pm Central Time
Description: Our Newish Knitter KAL is for knitters who have finished Knit101 and Knit 102 and are wondering what to knit next. All of these patterns are great places to practice your stitches and learn how to read patterns. This KAL is also for more experienced knitters who want to socialize with others while knitting a project where you can knit and chat at the same time.
In December we are going to knit the Dalgali Scarf by Angela Gardner. Don't let the size of this project worry you - it is knit with bulky weight yarn or a thicker worsted weight yarn and it knits up very quickly. This project is a perfect comfort knit during the hectic end of the year and it also makes a great gift.
I used 3 skeins of Manos Del Urugruay Franca yarn and a US 10 32" needle. You could also use 2 skeins of Misha & Puff or 1-2 skeins of Orion or your choice of Bulky or Super Bulky weight yarn. Gauge is flexible for this pattern so if you use a different weight of yarn please size the needles accordingly.
There is no charge for this virtual get-together, however, we ask that you purchase yarn from the store for this project. When you purchase your yarn write in the comments section that you would like to be added to the KAL! Don't worry if you can't make all of the sessions. We'd love to have you when you can make it.
