Newish Knitter KAL(virtual) - May 5, 12 and 19 - Runaround Pond
Wednesday evenings May 5, 12 and 19
7:00pm - 8ish pm Central Standard Time
What are we making?
Runaround Pond by Elizabeth Smith a cowl made with sport weight yarn. If you can knit and purl you can knit this gorgeous cowl! Plan on casting on together during our first meeting and I can share my tips on how to cast on a lot of stitches.
How do I sign up?
There is no charge for the knitalong, however, we do ask you to purchase your yarn for the project at String Theory. Add this item to your cart when you purchase your supplies. We will send you a Zoom link the day before the first meeting.
Don't worry if you can't attend all of the sessions. Just drop in when you can make it.
What is a knitalong(KAL)? A KAL is when several people knit the same thing at the same time. It is like a class, but much more casual. There is more encouragement than education. Liz helps you with techniques that might be new to you or reviewing things you may have forgotten. She will also have a few tips and tricks to share.
Who is this for?
Our Newish Knitter KAL is for knitters who have finished Knit 101 and Knit 102 and are wondering what to knit next. All of these patterns are great places to practice your stitches and learn how to read patterns. This KAL is also for more experienced knitters who want to socialize with others while knitting a project where you can knit and chat at the same time.
Don't worry if you can't make all of the sessions. We'd love to have you when you can make it.
