Saturday morning — Stunning Knits from Scraps. Bring the bag you can't throw away and can't use — especially the colors you're certain don't go together. You'll work stripes, slipped stitches, chevrons, and log cabin squares until the pile stops looking like leftovers. This one meets at Main Street Recreation Center, just five blocks from the shop.
Saturday all day — Plied Trunk Show. The full run of Twists and Primaries at String Theory. Free. Drop by anytime.
Sunday morning — Awesome Embroidery Stitches for Knits. The sweater with the spot on it isn't ruined. Learn the stitches that turn a flaw into the best part of the garment. Threads, hoops, needles, and fabric all included.
Plied is Ann's own yarn — lofty, non-superwash wool she dyes by hand in Baltimore, and two of the colorways live only here: BWI and Midway, named for the airports between her city and ours.
