Plied

Plied Yarn is the brainchild of knitwear designer and instructor/designer Ann Weaver and Karida Collins, owner of Neighborhood Fiber Co.

Plied Twist yarns are initially spun at the Harrisville mill in New Hampshire, hand-dyed in Baltimore, and then returned to Harrisville, where they ply two strands into one beautiful yarn. 

Plied Primaries are the semisolid siblings to the Twists. Both are spun at Harrisville and dyed at their studio in Baltimore, but primares are dyed in the skein rather than dyeing the plies separately. The result is layered colorways that pair perfectly with the Twists.

Both yarns are lofty, with a little "tooth".
