By purchasing yarn from String Theory, you’re lifting up a number of small and female-owned businesses. We help women in Rwanda, who survived the genocide, educate a new generation. We help women in Uruguay find meaningful work without leaving their rural homes. We help a family in New Hampshire maintain a mill, a tradition spanning hundreds of years. We help restore the Patagonia Grasslands by encouraging sustainable farming.Every yarn we stock makes a positive impact.
You finally have a moment to knit, you pull your project out of your bag, and discover that your stitches have slipped right off the needles! Now, instead of a few precious moments of zen, you are stuck fixing a problem.
Make your life easier by putting the ends of your circular needles into the needle keeper before you stuff your project back into your bag. The needle keeper keeps those stitches safely on your needles and also keeps the needles from getting tangled up in your yarn.
If you are working with double-pointed needles, you'll want the DPN Holder for the same reason.A Needle Keeper holds needles as thin as US #00 / 1.75mm and up to two size US #9 / 5.5mm (both needles).
They come in a variety of colors. Let us pick for you.

I love my double-ended needle keepers! I have several. They are great when using circular needles. To prevent your work from sliding off the needles when you stop knitting you simply insert those needles into the needle keeper. It’s as easy as can and works great! Go buy a few - one for each wip!
