Penn Ave is made from two strands of hand-dyed yarn. Both Penn Ave and North Ave (the original Plied yarn) have the same unique Plied characteristics. Penn Ave is simply made with a thicker single-ply. Primaries work perfectly with Penn Ave Twist.
