Sister Ananse Andy Warhol Collection

When I heard that the art museum at our local community college was going to exhibit 94 original works by Andy Warhol this summer, I thought it would be cool to capture his colors in yarn.

I immediately thought of local dyer Naima Bond, aka Sister Ananse. Because Naima loves bright colors and studied art at Oberlin College and the Art Institute of Chicago, she was the obvious choice. Turns out Naima is a huge Andy Warhol fan!
The results are phenomenal! Naima created a collection of seven bright colors, each based on a different Andy Warhol painting. These colors are available in fingering weight and DK weight in "plain" and "zebra".

These yarns are limited edition - available through July 30 or while supplies last.
