By purchasing yarn from String Theory, you’re lifting up a number of small and female-owned businesses. We help women in Rwanda, who survived the genocide, educate a new generation. We help women in Uruguay find meaningful work without leaving their rural homes. We help a family in New Hampshire maintain a mill, a tradition spanning hundreds of years. We help restore the Patagonia Grasslands by encouraging sustainable farming.Every yarn we stock makes a positive impact.
The OMFG Cowl is the perfect zoom knit: round and round on circular needles! Two strands are held together to create a marl that gradually shifts colors. And because you hold two strands together you can get away with a size 10.5 needle. Big stitches = visible progress every time you sit down to knit.
The kit contains four skeins of Plied North Ave and the pattern.
a tube measuring approximately 28-inch circumference and 22 inches long
Plied was founded by Karida Collins and Ann Weaver, two people who are committed to raising the profile of Black lives and causes. Plied is milled by a family-owned mill in New Hampshire.
