Wool & Wonder 2027 — A New Year's Yarn Mystery Box PREORDER

Sale price$165.00

50 in stock

We love putting together this box. It comes to you in December. You put it somewhere you'll see it, and then you leave it alone - the promise of a quiet moment...soon.

December can be a lot. The shopping, the baking, the cards, the everyone-else of it. And through all of that, there in the corner of the room, is a box that isn't for anybody else. It's yours. You already know something good is in there. You just don't know what .

Then on January 1, while the coffee's going and nobody needs anything from you yet, you open it.

Inside is yarn we picked because we couldn't stop touching it, a pattern we think you'll want to cast on that morning, and a handful of small good things from makers we love — something to use, something good to eat, a few things that are just lovely. It's a good box. I wouldn't ask you to wait a month for it otherwise.

We put in one pattern and a few more suggestions, because we don't know what mood you'll be in on January 1. Some years you want something you can finish by Thursday. Some years you want something big enough to keep you company until spring. Either way, we've got you.

This is the second Wool & Wonder and it's completely new — different yarn, different makers, different treasures. That's the plan from here on: same morning, a new box, every year. I think it's going to become one of those things you count on.

And here's the part I love most. You won't be opening it by yourself. Makers all over the country will be lifting the same lid on the same quiet morning, all of us starting the year the same way — good yarn in our hands and the whole project still ahead of us. Every stitch connects.

"The key to happiness is always having something to look forward to." — Will Guidara's dad

We're making 52 of them. They ship mid-December, so yours will be home and waiting on the morning of January 1, 2027.
