Done By December
If you start now, you'll be done by December.
Every summer, we attempt to get you started on your winter accessories. Some people have gifts to make. Others just need to replace a well worn hat, a lost mitten, or a scarf that no longer matches a coat.
Winter accessories make the best summer knitting because they are small and portable - even if you are only traveling to your own backyard.
Every week in July I introduced my project ideas on Facebook. However, I thought it might be a good idea to put all the project names, pattern links and yarn suggestions in one place for easy referral.
In the comments, please let us know which of these is your favorite. Or maybe you have a go-to project idea that you'd like to share.

A day away can be just the break you need. And while I know that Glen Ellyn is not Rhinebeck (home of the famous sheep and wool festival), it is a lovely spot for a day trip, especially in the Fall.

Now you can get to know members of the String Theory Community through our monthly customer spotlight - It's one small way we can weave a stronger community of makers during challenging times. We ask the same five questions (plus a rapid-fire style THIS or THAT) each month to a different String Theory customer.

On Saturday, a customer told me that she loves to knit but hates picking out the project and the yarn. I have heard this before, but I admit, the first time I heard it, I was shocked.
There are a lot of decisions to make everyday. We are happy to tell you what to make if you want us to. 😀
