Easy Crocheted Gifts for Spring & Summer

Spring! The weather is getting warmer, flowers are blooming, and our schedules are... hectic. With so many programs wrapping up this time of year (especially for folks with kids), plus a gaggle of holidays, I like to have a few "at the ready" crocheted gifts on hand. Here's a roundup of some of my favorite EASY crochet patterns for gifts perfect for teachers, Moms, Girl Scout leaders, Dads, or anyone else needing a little gift this Spring! (Don't forget to also stock up on crochet hooks for your projects)

Color Block Market Bag

Is there anything that says "summer is coming" like an airy farmer's market bag? We love this one for stashing leafy greens and other produce treasures from the market! Our new Seaspun yarn from Berocco would be gorgeous for this project.

Daisy Flower Pen Topper

I could imagine gifting this to the kids in my daughter's Daisy Scout Troop! But these pen toppers are so sweet and clever, I could see them being appreciated by anyone. Plus, I love the pen holder the designer makes from an extra toilet paper roll (so smart!).

Cactus Pen Cozy

I dare you to gift one of these and see if it doesn't bring a smile to their face. And who doesn't need more pens? Sportweight Skipper from Kelbourne Woolens would be perfect for whipping up a whole desert of these lil guys.

Sunrise Coaster

Using worsted weight/medium cotton yarn, you can whip up a cute Sunrise Coaster in a bunch of colors in no time. A small stack tied with ribbon would be a perfect gift for mom or a teacher!

Bucket Hat

A bucket hat is such a great gateway project for crochet. It's deceptively simple to make one in just a couple hours, and its super trendy to make and wear in 2024 (thanks, TikTok!). This would be an awesome gift for a teen with a Spring birthday. A DK-weight cotton yarn would be perfect.

Watermelon Sun Hat

Ok, someone reading this right now definitely needs to make a tiny watermelon hat for the baby in their life. Double-crochet stitches mean that this works up FAST (not the mention, adorable!).

Farmhouse Dish Set

I'm very into this set of dish towel, washcloth, and hanging hand towel. This would be such a sweet housewarming gift! You could mix-and-match which items you make depending on how much yarn and time you have. Our Clean Cotton was made exactly for projects like these that get machine washed and dried on repeat!

Flower Bookmark

Easy and adorable - This would be very sweet to give out as a party favor, or perhaps as a gift for a book club or summer reading program.

Plant Hanger

Pick up a little plant from Trader Joe's and fit it into one of these lovely plant hangers for an instant-gift.
