Treasure Goddess Yarn is run from a red barn on a 10 acre homestead just south of Kansas City. Christine Long-Derks started dyeing yarn on a whim about 15 years ago - Her goal with dyeing is to create yarn that looks as amazing all knit up (crocheted up & woven up) as it does in the skein. Her logo is a Pirate Sheep and all her colorway names are pirate/ocean/mermaid related. Why a pirate sheep? Pirates sailed the seven seas searching the finest luxuries and having adventures. Christine sails the seven seas (of the internet and local fiber farms) to find the best fiber treasures.

Treasured YAK Toes Sock Yarn gives you a little yak fiber in the sock yarn. It adds so much warmth & the dyed colors are so rich and earthy! Yak is 30% warmer than merino wool, so it's the perfect add in to make a warm gorgeous pair of socks or scarf or hat!
