Plied Yarn is the brainchild of knitwear designer and instructor/designer Ann Weaver and Karida Collins, owner of Neighborhood Fiber Co.
Plied yarns are initially spun at the Harrisville mill in New Hampshire, hand-dyed in Baltimore, and then returned to Harrisville where they ply two strands into one beautiful yarn. The resulting yarn is lofty, with a little "tooth".
