First Sweater Class - Felix Pullover

Date: Sunday evenings October 20, 27 and November 3 and 10

Time: 6:00-7:30 pm Central Time

Instructor: Liz Daly

Cost: $90

Description: Join Liz as she steps you through knitting the Felix Pullover.  She will go over correctly knitting a gauge swatch, the information the gauge swatch will tell you, choosing a size, checking your size throughout the process, knitting sleeves and most importantly understanding the pattern.

Knitting a sweater to some might be exciting and to others might cause some fear.  Liz will take you through the pattern from beginning to end.  This pullover is a classic design with beautiful shoulder details.

  • Class 1 - We will go over gauge swatches and how to select a size.
  • Class 2 - We will go over the short row shaping (don't panic if you've never done short rows Liz will walk you through them and there's only a few)
  • Class 3 - We will go over how to check the size of your sweater
  • Class 4 - We will go over sleeves.

Materials: Circular needles to get gauge and worsted/aran/bulky weight yarn enough for your specific size, stitch markers in different colors or 4 different stitch markers.  Felix Pullover by Amy Christoffers.  Liz is knitting hers using Peace Fleece

Homework: Knit a gauge swatch, block and dry it before class.  Information on how to do this will be sent out prior to class.
