By purchasing yarn from String Theory, you’re lifting up a number of small and female-owned businesses. We help women in Rwanda, who survived the genocide, educate a new generation. We help women in Uruguay find meaningful work without leaving their rural homes. We help a family in New Hampshire maintain a mill, a tradition spanning hundreds of years. We help restore the Patagonia Grasslands by encouraging sustainable farming.Every yarn we stock makes a positive impact.
A lightly-fulled single-ply yarn of magnum proportions! Whip out a super-cozy accessory in just hours with this super-sized delight of a yarn. I made my daughter-in-law simple mittens with this for Christmas. Fast to knit and came out beautifully!
Great for a hat - soft and lovely colors
This is my favorite yarn to knit with! Beautiful colors and high quality yarn.
I have made a 3 cowls with the Rasta yarn ( 3 different colors) and large needles (size 17.)..love the soft and plush feel and it especially looked great with a seed stitch, I think.
