Make a Sweater in 4 Days! Join Olive Knits' 4-day Knit Along

Olive Knits 4-day Knitalongs are the best! There is something magical about taking on an "impossible" challenge with a lot of other people to cheer you on. And Marie Greene (aka Olive Knits) provides lots of support (and prizes!) along the way.

This year's pattern (I've seen it, you are going to love it!) uses DK weight yarn. We have so much to choose from right now, but sweater quantities don't last long so take a look at our website soon: https://stringtheoryyarncompany.com/collections/dk

For rich saturated color, you'll love Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio DK (in stock now) or Dream in Color Cosette (more coming soon).

Liz is all about texture so she is going to make the store sample in Harrisville Daylights. This soft, lofty yarn with great stitch definition is going to be perfect!

For luxurious softness, you'll want the hand-painted Alma DK or classic Woolfolk Far (Woolfolk Far is technically worsted but it would knit up beautifully at this gauge.)

I'm going to swatch Manos Alpaca Heather. I've been wanting a sweater in this for ages. I'll let you know how it works.

On Saturday, a customer told me that she loves to knit but hates picking out the project and the yarn. I have heard this before, but I admit, the first time I heard it, I was shocked.

There are a lot of decisions to make everyday. We are happy to tell you what to make if you want us to. 😀
